Can orphaned jaguar cubs survive the transition back to the wild?
In short: This film follows three orphaned jaguar cubs over eighteen months as they transition from human care to the jungle. Witness their journey from vulnerable infants to predators capable of hunting and defending their own kills.
After their mother was shot by cowboys, three jaguar cubs were rescued and nursed back to health by Brazilian expert Leandro Silviera. For twenty-five years, Silviera has managed the Jaguar Conservation Fund from a remote ranch, and this footage captures the cubs' remarkable recovery.
The documentary explores the tension between human intervention and wild survival. As the cubs grow, they must master essential skills like hunting prey and guarding kills. The central challenge remains whether they can thrive independently after forming deep bonds with their human foster family.
