The high-stakes politics of a lion kingdom's power struggle
In short: Experience the intense social dynamics of a lion pride as a dominant male seeks to reclaim his territory. This footage captures the volatile transition of power and the unique bond between a naturalist and the pride.
The narrative follows Scipio, a prominent lion king, as he forms a strategic coalition to seize control of his kingdom. This territorial struggle highlights the complex social structures and alliances required for survival in the wild.
The video also documents the perspective of Jorge Alesanco, a naturalist who spent 3,000 nights living with lions to earn his place within the pride. It explores the shift from coexistence to the unpredictable reality of a violent territorial battle.
