A tiny bear cub's survival depends on overcoming a bully
In short: This video captures the high-stakes social dynamics of orphaned bear cubs. It follows Renny, a timid cub who must find the courage to face a bully to secure his place in the group.
In Mackenzie, BC, wildlife experts Angelika and Peter work to rescue three orphaned cubs stranded high in the tree-tops. The operation involves coordinating with a local arborist to safely bring the animals down.
The footage highlights the internal struggle of a cub named Renny, who remains isolated atop a pole in a cub pen. While the bully-cub Dion lurks below, Renny faces a critical choice: remain hidden and hungry or risk confrontation to survive.
