The hidden struggle of a snow leopard cub's survival
In short: In the remote mountains of Pakistan, a rare male cub faces a monumental challenge: consuming nearly as much food as his mother.
This BBC Earth documentary, part of the 'Snow Leopard: Beyond the Myth' series, follows journalist Nisar Malik into a secret cave system. The film tracks the hunting, feeding, and mating behaviours of these highly endangered big cats as they descend into lower valleys during harsh seasons.
Beyond observing the cub's development, the film documents Malik's personal shift in perspective, moving from viewing this landscape as a place of danger to finding beauty and peace within it.
