What happens when lizards approach a lion's feast?
In short: Witness the unexpected scavengers that emerge during a predator's meal. This footage from the 201s series 'Africa' captures the intricate interactions between lions, flies, and lizards during a wildebeest feast.
The video explores the complex ecosystem surrounding a kill, specifically observing how lizards react to the presence of lions. It highlights a surprising biological detail: lions that have consumed a wildebeest attract a higher density of flies than the wildebeest itself.
