Boom Supersonic expands beyond aviation into high-performance power generation for datacenters

Boom Supersonic is bringing its XB-1 demonstrator to Microsoft Flight Simulator while simultaneously pivoting its engine technology toward a new market: powering datacenters.

The company has introduced a highly detailed model of the XB-1 aircraft to Microsoft Flight Simulator, allowing users to experience the demonstrator firsthand. While this development is separate from their Overture passenger jet project, it highlights the company's growing public footprint.

Simultaneously, Boom has unveiled 'Superpower,' a gas turbine project designed to provide power for datacenters. This initiative has already secured additional investment and may help build a customer base for the company's Symphony jet engine technology.
