Navigating the long, eccentric journey toward the distant planet Eeloo
In short: This video follows a mission to reach the far reaches of the solar system. It explores the complexities of planning long-duration interstellar quests and the technical frustrations of developing new heavy launch shuttles.
The mission targets Eeloo, a planet characterized by its extreme distance and eccentric orbit. Due to its position, a journey to reach the planet is estimated to take more than a year and a half. Beyond the interstellar quest, the video also documents the development of a new heavy launch shuttle featuring an expanded cargo bay, a process currently hindered by frequent crashes involving both experimental aircraft and the simulation software itself.
