On May 14 at 2:20 p.m., the space shuttle Atlantis will depart from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The crew, led by Commander Ken Ham, is tasked with a significant logistical feat: transporting and delivering the Russia-built Mini Research Module-1 (MRM-1) to the International Space Station.
In addition to the MRM-1, the mission includes the delivery of a cargo carrier filled with essential hardware. Tony Antonelli serves as Pilot for this six-person team, alongside Mission Specialists Piers Sellers, Steve Bowen, Michael Good, and Garrett Reisman.
