Four astronauts depart the International Space Station for a splashdown off Florida's coast

Follow the return journey of the SpaceX Crew-9 mission as four space travelers undock from the International Space Station. This mission concludes their multi-month stay in low Earth orbit with a scheduled splashdown in the Atlantic Ocean.

The Crew-9 mission features a four-person crew consisting of NASA astronauts Nick Hague, Suni Williams, and Butch Wilmore, alongside cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov. Their departure from the orbital laboratory marks the final phase of their extended mission.

The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft is set to undock at 1:05 a.m. EST (0505 UTC). Following the separation, the crew will navigate back to Earth, with a planned splashdown off the Florida coast at 5:57 p.m. EDT (2157 UTC).
