How Scott Manley tests Star Citizen's performance across different hardware
In short: This video demonstrates Star Citizen gameplay on two separate machines to compare visual quality and performance, while offering a perspective on the game's development and player enjoyment.
The footage compares a GTX 980TI running at 2560x1440 with Very High settings against a Radeon HD 7970 running at 1920x1080 with Medium settings. Beyond the technical benchmarks, the video explores the subjective nature of gaming, suggesting that the best spaceship game is simply the one a player is currently enjoying, regardless of technical flaws or development critiques.
