In short: Raghav Juyal didn't have formal dance training; he learned by watching videos online. Yet, he became a national sensation for creating a unique style that industry titans claimed had never been realistically emulated in India before his debut.

Born in Dehradun and raised in Uttarakhand, Juyal rose to prominence through a viral YouTube audition. Despite lacking professional schooling in dance, he showcased a distinct style on Zee TV's Dance India Dance 3. Although initially rejected from the Top 18 during the Mega Audition, public demand was so high that the show broke its own format to reintroduce him as a 'trump card.' He eventually reached the finale, securing the most No. 1 positions in weekly voting and finishing as the 2nd runner-up with over 3.4 million votes.

Juyal's signature contribution is his reinvention of the Slow Motion Walk. Renowned choreographers including Geeta Kapoor, Remo D'Souza, and Terrence Lewis noted that while others had attempted it, Juyal was the first to emulate the movement realistically in India. This technical nuance helped him transition from a reality contestant to a versatile entertainer, leading to roles in major dance films like ABCD 2 and Street Dancer 3D, as well as hosting multiple seasons of Dance Plus.

His career trajectory highlights a shift from performance to complex character acting. After playing positive roles, he pivoted to darker territory in the series Abhay (2020) and later gained significant critical acclaim for his antagonist role in the 2024 film Kill. This performance earned him an IIFA Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role in 2025. He continues to expand his reach, moving into theatrical lead roles and high-profile projects like King.

Beyond individual performance, Juyal has influenced the next generation as a mentor. As a skipper for 'Raghav Ke Rockstars' and captain of teams in Dance Ke Superkids, he demonstrated a knack for choreography and leadership, successfully guiding students to multiple grand finales.
