A deceptive motherhood and a sudden kiss spark this South Korean romantic comedy
In short: To settle her sister's massive debts, Go Da-rim enters a high-stakes charade. By posing as a mother to secure a job at a childcare company, she finds herself caught in a web of corporate maneuvering and unexpected romance with her sharp, calm team leader.
Dynamite Kiss, a 2025 South Korean romantic comedy series, follows the complicated life of Go Da-rim. Driven by the need to pay her sister's debts and her mother's medical bills, Da-rim enters the 'Mothers Task Force' at Natural BeBe, a childcare product company owned by the parents of team leader Gong Ji-hyeok. To secure the position, she must hide her status as a single woman and pretend to be a mother.
The narrative tension escalates when Da-rim's deception brings her into direct contact with Ji-hyeok, who is revealed to be her boss on her very first day. Their professional relationship is disrupted when Ji-hyeok, typically known for his calm and sharp leadership, is caught off guard by a kiss from Da-rim. This moment marks a turning point as their initial professional goals give way to genuine feelings.
The series also weaves in complex corporate and family dynamics. Gong Ji-hye's attempt to take over Natural BeBe from her stepbrother, Ji-hyeok, leads to the creation of the Mothers Task Force. While originally a strategic move, the division—composed primarily of single mothers—eventually becomes a driver for the company's success. Produced by Studio S and Samhwa Networks, this drama ran on SBS TV between 12 November and 25 December 2025, following a ₩17 billion won deal.
The production saw major casting developments in early 2025, with Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin officially confirmed as the leads following discussions that began in October 2024.
