In short: Michelle Dewberry's journey spans from working at Kwik-Save to winning a high-stakes business competition. Beyond the reality TV spotlight, she has navigated political campaigns, media presenting, and personal challenges, building a diverse career that moves from corporate consultancy to prime-time television.

After growing up on a Kingston upon Hull council estate from 1979, Michelle Dewberry held positions at KCOM and St John Ambulance. After leaving school at 16 with two GCSEs, she rose through the ranks at Kingston Communications before being head-hunted by ISP Tiscali as a project manager. At age 24, she transitioned into entrepreneurship by starting her own transformation consultancy.

In 2006, Dewberry achieved national recognition by winning the second British series of the reality television programme The Apprentice. The competition offered the winner a job worth £100,000 a year at the time, working for businessman Alan Sugar. Following this success, she published her autobiography, Anything is Possible, in 2007, and became a monthly columnist for Business Matters in December 2009.

Dewberry has also ventured into politics and broadcasting. During the 2017 general election, she contested Hull West and Hessle as an independent pro-Brexit candidate, securing 5.5% of the vote. In the 2019 general election, she ran for the Brexit Party in the same constituency, securing 18% of the vote. Her media presence expanded to include appearances on ITV's The Chase in 2016 and a prime-time role on GB News, where her show, Dewbs & Co, airs at 6 pm on weeknights.

Throughout her career, Dewberry has been involved in philanthropy, running the London Marathon in 2007 and 2009 to support the NSPCC. She also serves as an ambassador for Women's Aid and The Prince's Trust. In 2020, she gave birth to her first child, a son, nine weeks early following PPROM at 28 weeks pregnant.
