In short: For years, NXT's biggest event was tied to WrestleMania week. But in 2026, the sixth annual Stand & Deliver broke away, moving to Chesterfield, Missouri. This shift marked a major broadcasting pivot, making it the first standalone PLE to stream on YouTube in the United States.

The 2026 edition of NXT Stand & Deliver, also known as NXT Stand & Deliver: St. Louis, represented a significant departure from previous years. Since 2021, the event had been held during WrestleMania week, but the 2026 iteration took place on Saturday, April 4, at The Factory at The District in Chesterfield, Missouri. This change occurred because WrestleMania 42 was scheduled for two weeks later, on April 18 and 19. The venue, The Factory at The District, hosted the sixth annual iteration of this major showcase. This specific scheduling change was prompted by the timing of WrestleMania 42.

The event also signaled a transition in how WWE distributes its developmental brand's content. Following the expiration of WWE's contract with Peacock for US broadcasts of NXT premium live events, Shawn Michaels announced that Stand & Deliver would be available on YouTube in the United States. This made it the only standalone PLE to air on the platform in the US, as subsequent events moved to The CW starting in June with The Great American Bash. International viewers could access the show via Netflix, Abema, or SuperSport. The broadcast also featured a guest appearance by the rapper Sexyy Red.

On the ring canvas, the event was defined by historic milestones and intense rivalries. Tony D'Angelo secured the NXT Championship by overcoming Joe Hendry, Ricky Saints, and Ethan Page during a fatal four-way main event. This victory made D'Angelo the first-ever NXT Grand Slam Champion. Other notable results included Lola Vice winning the NXT Women's Championship in a triple threat match against Jacy Jayne and Kendal Grey, and Sol Ruca defeating Zaria. The night's opening match saw Lola Vice secure the women's title in a triple threat contest. Additionally, the tag team titles were successfully defended by The Vanity Project.
