A two-decade naming rights deal has been signed between Casino Del Sol, owned by the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, and the University of Arizona. This landmark deal, valued at more than $60 million, officially renames the venue formerly known as Arizona Stadium to Casino Del Sol Stadium. The partnership represents the largest agreement of its kind within the Big 12 Conference. The agreement was negotiated and executed by Arizona Sports Enterprises. This 20-year commitment follows a long history of the venue, which originally opened in 1929.

Beyond the name change, the collaboration integrates the tribe's brand into the university's athletic identity through new field logos, interior and exterior branding, and digital platforms. The deal also extends to national television broadcasts. For the university, the agreement is a pillar of a sustainable financial foundation for Arizona Athletics, while for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, it provides a massive stage to share their story and culture with a national audience. The partnership is part of a broader effort to support the Bear Down Blueprint. Additionally, the university plans to use the funds to implement a multiyear facilities enhancement plan to modernize student-athlete spaces and fan amenities.

The partnership is structured to deepen the economic and academic links between the land-grant university and the tribe. As a Pillar Partner, Casino Del Sol will hold category exclusivity in the casino, gaming, and resorts sectors starting next fiscal year. This strategic alignment aims to advance shared goals in education, cultural preservation, and community strength across Southern Arizona. This collaboration is intended to create pathways for prosperity that benefit the region for generations. It also serves to strengthen the university's connections with various tribal nations.
