In short: From a Southampton academy graduate to a Premier League Goal of the Season winner, Harrison Reed's career is a masterclass in persistence. After navigating several loan spells across the English leagues, he found a permanent home at Fulham, eventually delivering one of the most dramatic late strikes in recent memory.

Harrison Reed's professional journey began in August 2013, when he debuted for Southampton in a League Cup victory against Barnsley. A product of the Southampton academy, Reed quickly moved into the top flight, making his Premier League debut against Manchester City in December 2013. His early years were marked by significant development opportunities, including his first Premier League start in a 3–0 win over Everton in late 2014 and appearances in the Europa League against Vitesse Arnhem.

To gain consistent playing time, Reed underwent several strategic loan periods. In July 2017, he joined Norwich City, where he became a regular fixture, starting 36 league games and scoring his first career goal against Queens Park Rangers in August 2017. He followed this with a stint at Blackburn Rovers during the 2018–19 season, making 33 appearances and scoring three goals. These formative spells prepared him for a pivotal move to Fulham, initially on loan in August 2019, where he played a role in the club's promotion from the Championship.

The transition to a permanent fixture at Fulham was finalized on 30 August 2020, with the club paying a reported £6 million fee. Reed's time at the club has been defined by both defensive reliability and moments of individual brilliance. Most notably, on 4 January 2026, he secured a 2–2 draw against Liverpool with a stoppage-time strike from roughly 25 yards out. This spectacular goal, his first since April 2023, earned him both the Premier League Goal of the Month for January 2026 and the prestigious Premier League Goal of the Season award for 2025–26.
