In short: From the streets of Tezpur to the heights of Indian cinema, Kayadu Lohar's rapid ascent is remarkable. Starting with a jewelry pageant, she has quickly become a prominent face across multiple languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Marathi, marking a significant breakthrough in the industry.

Born on 11 April 2000 in Tezpur, Assam, Kayadu Lohar’s journey to stardom began far from the film sets of Chennai or Hyderabad. Raised in Pune, Maharashtra, she developed a diverse linguistic foundation that would later serve her career in the multi-lingual Indian film industry. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Commerce at Savitribai Phule Pune University, following her studies at St. Francis De Sales School and Don Bosco College in Pune. Her father originally used the surname Gadali before relocating to Pune. She completed her primary and secondary education at local institutions in Maharashtra.

Lohar's professional path was paved through competitive modeling, winning the Times of India's Everyuth Fresh Face Season 12. She made her cinematic debut in the 2021 Kannada film Mugilpete while participating in the Times Fresh Face Competition. Following this, she expanded her repertoire with releases in Malayalam, Telugu, and Marathi between 2022 and 2023, including films such as Pathonpatham Noottandu and I Prem U. Her initial entry into the industry was through a jewellery-themed pageant. She also participated in the Times Fresh Face Competition during her debut period.

The definitive turning point arrived in 2025 with her Tamil debut in the film Dragon. Playing the daughter of a businessman, Lohar's performance was singled out by Avinash Ramachandran of The Indian Express, who noted her wonderful performance despite the character's increasingly one-note nature. The film was a major commercial success, becoming the fourth highest-grossing Tamil film of that year. This momentum carried into 2026, a prolific year for Lohar that saw six film releases, including projects alongside notable actors like Dulquer Salmaan and Nani. Her breakout role featured her acting alongside Pradeep Ranganathan. This success led to a busy schedule involving several new cinematic projects.
