The history of faith is written by the survivors
In short: Most religions from human history have vanished, leaving behind only whispers of forbidden rituals and suppressed beliefs. This video examines real, once-active faiths that were erased or forgotten, exploring why they were deemed dangerous enough to be systematically suppressed.
Various little-known faiths, such as Zunism, the Sabians of Harran, Mazdakism, Paulicianism, Bogomilism, the Druze faith, Cargo Cults, Manichaeism, Mithraism, Mandaeism, Sethian Gnosticism and Yazidism, are examined for their historical background and theology within this film.
These were not mere myths; they possessed real followers, sacred traditions, and distinct belief systems involving concepts like reincarnation, cosmic dualism, and hidden knowledge. The content analyzes why these specific groups were often branded as heretical or accused of devil worship, leading to their eventual disappearance from the historical record.
