Why is Mental Floss hosting a trivia game show inside a bathroom?
In short: Mental Floss has launched Tub Trivia, a live quiz show that brings the classic pub trivia experience into the bathroom. Hosted by Justin Dodd, the show invites viewers to compete in real-time via live chat for the title of Champion of the Internet.
Tub Trivia represents the latest expansion of Mental Floss, a platform dedicated to satisfying curiosity through trivia, historical narratives, and scientific exploration. The show follows the brand's established tradition of engaging audiences with fun, educational content.
The platform is well-known for its tentpole series such as The List Show, which explores topics like unusual professions from a century ago, and Misconceptions, which systematically dismantles common errors regarding subjects like human brain function. By moving into live, interactive quiz formats, Mental Floss continues its mission to make viewers slightly smarter through accessible, trivia-based entertainment.
