In short: From tiny worms revived from Siberian permafrost to flowers found in Ice Age squirrel caches, this video explores ten remarkable instances where animals the world wrote off were rediscovered.

The video examines cases where the label of extinction was drawn too early. It highlights diverse rediscoveries, including a fish thought gone for tens of millions of years, giant insects found on open-sea rocks, and an echidna captured on a final memory card. The film also examines a potentially final tortoise's struggle to live, alongside a blossom emerging from an old squirrel's cache.
