A reunion in the skies above the Maasai Mara
In short: Witness the vast Kenyan savannah from a hot air balloon, tracking massive herds of wildebeest, zebra, and elephant across the landscape.
This documentary captures the breathtaking scale of the Great Rift Valley, from the flight of thousands of flamingos over Lake Elementaita to the African sunset over rolling hills. Beyond the wildlife, the film serves as a tribute to legendary filmmaker Alan Root and his friend Phil Dunnington, who once taught Root how to pilot a balloon. Forty years after their initial adventures, the two reunite to relive their experiences in the African sky.
