Can we visualize the invisible paths of electrons?
In short: Standard quantum mechanics often leaves us with abstract probabilities. This video uses Bohmian trajectories to provide a 3D visualization of hydrogen orbitals, offering a different way to see the wavefunctions.
Using custom Python code within Blender, the video illustrates the de Broglie-Bohm causal interpretation. It moves beyond abstract math to show how trajectories can represent the behavior of electrons in hydrogen orbitals, drawing on the framework of hidden variables first proposed by David Bohm in 1952.
