How custom-made insulated panels transform the foundation process
In short: Watch how a Pennsylvania manufacturer creates custom insulated wall panels and how a crew in Jamestown assembles them in just a few hours using a crane.
The video follows the journey of prefabricated foundation walls from production to installation. In Pennsylvania, a CNC machine cuts styrofoam stud insulation, which is then integrated into panel forms alongside rebar and additional insulation. Concrete is poured into these forms, covering the studs, headers, and footers. After setting overnight, the finished walls are stripped from their forms and transported to the jobsite.
In Jamestown, the process concludes as a crane lowers the panels into place. Under the supervision of Adam Campbell, a crew completes the assembly by gluing the panels together, a task that takes only a few hours.
