Four astronauts prepare to depart the International Space Station after a five-month mission

NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, alongside JAXA’s Takuya Onishi and Roscosmos’s Kirill Peskov, conclude their SpaceX Crew-10 mission. This video captures their final reflections from orbit and the formal transition of leadership as they ready themselves for the journey back to Earth.

The Crew-10 team has spent approximately 150 days living and working in low Earth orbit. Their departure marks the end of a multi-agency collaboration involving NASA, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, and Roscosmos.

Beyond the farewell remarks, the mission concludes with a traditional change of command ceremony. This ritual ensures the continuity of operations for the remaining crew members aboard the station, maintaining the station's status as a permanently inhabited research laboratory.
