Can you land the Space Shuttle on your mobile device?
In short: Scott Manley reviews a spacecraft simulator that allows users to pilot the Space Shuttle during its final landing approach. Originally found on the Google Play store, this mobile game offers a hands-on experience for enthusiasts looking to test their piloting skills on a tablet or smartphone.
The simulator provides a focused experience on the challenging landing phase of the Space Shuttle. While Manley tested the software on a Nexus 7 tablet, the game is designed to function on most modern Android devices as well as iOS hardware, including the iPhone, iPad, and iPod.
During the holiday season, the application was available for a price of $0.99. It serves as a accessible tool for those interested in the mechanics of spacecraft flight dynamics without requiring professional-grade simulation equipment.
