In short: During an in-flight linkup, JAXA Flight Engineer Kimiya Yui answered questions from students and residents of his hometown while orbiting aboard the International Space Station.
On September 29, Kimiya Yui engaged with people from the Kawakami Village Province in Japan's Nagano Prefecture. The video captures this exchange, where Yui discusses the realities of life and work in orbit.
An Expedition 45 Flight Engineer for the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, Yui arrived at the station in late July and is expected to continue his research and maintenance duties until late December.
