A new era of orbital logistics: SpaceX Dragon docks with ISS

SpaceX Dragon Reaches ISS with New Supplies · 5:15 · Video: NASA · Watch at the source

In short: Watch how SpaceX successfully delivered three and a half tons of cargo to the International Space Station. This mission marks a significant milestone in commercial space logistics and collaborative orbital habitation.

On April 10, the SpaceX Dragon craft arrived at the International Space Station after launching from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station two days prior. Roughly three and a half tons of scientific experiments plus supplies, such as the Bigelow Expandable Activity Module (BEAM), were transported by this craft.

The mission is notable for its logistical coordination; the Dragon will remain attached to the Harmony module for one month. This marks the first time a Dragon craft has occupied a port adjacent to the U.S. The Orbital ATK Cygnus commercial cargo ship had docked with Unity on March 26.
