For families: the facts
Intellect Plus is written for a general audience, not for children specifically. Here is what we can say, so you can decide for your family. We suggest looking through it yourself first.
- Age ratings: the App Store lists it as 13+ and Google Play as PEGI 3. They are separate rating systems and they differ, so check the listing in your own store.
- Accounts and comments: you must be at least 13, or the minimum age where you live, to create an account or comment. Reading needs no account, and nothing checks a reader's age. Comments are moderated before they appear.
- No parental controls: there is no children's mode and no way for a parent to set limits or filter subjects.
- Content: our rules and automated checks keep out nudity, religious or political advocacy and anything unsuitable for a general audience, but cards are not reviewed one by one by a person, so something can slip through. Subjects include Wars & Conflicts and Health, and some history is difficult. Every card can be flagged, and you can report a problem.
- Sponsored cards and videos: the feed sometimes shows cards from advertisers, marked "Sponsored". Video cards play in the channel's own YouTube player.
- Privacy: we don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it. The privacy notice has the detail, including what we count on the website and how to opt out.
