How one fighter became the first three-sport world champion in ONE Championship history
In short: Stamp Fairtex began training at age five to avoid schoolyard bullying. Today, she is a rare phenomenon in combat sports, having conquered three distinct disciplines: Muay Thai, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts, securing multiple world titles across the spectrum of striking and grappling.
Born in 1997, Nadthawan Panthong—known professionally as Stamp Fairtex—has built a career defined by unprecedented versatility. Her journey began under the guidance of her father, a former Muay Thai fighter named Wisanlek Lukbangplasoy. After an early start in Thailand, she faced an eight-year hiatus from Muay Thai during her teenage years, caused by a lack of female opponents in her home region and a scarcity of women's fights. Her early career was even documented in the 2012 film Buffalo Girls. A gold medal was also secured by her during the 2019 Siam Cup BJJ competition.
Her ascent in ONE Championship was marked by rapid, multi-disciplinary success. She secured her first world title in kickboxing on October 6, 2018, by defeating Kai Ting Chuang. She followed this by becoming the organization's first two-sport champion after winning the inaugural atomweight Muay Thai World Championship against Janet Todd on February 22, 2019. Her dominance extended into mixed martial arts (MMA), where she won the 2021 ONE Women's Atomweight World Grand Prix by defeating Ritu Phogat via armbar. She also achieved success in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, earning her blue belt from De'Alonzio Jackson. Her striking-based approach was evident during her victory over Bi Nguyen.
The pinnacle of her achievements came on September 29, 2023, when she defeated Seo Hee Ham to become the ONE Women's Atomweight World Champion. This victory made her the promotion's first-ever three-sport world champion. Despite facing setbacks, including a knee injury that led her to relinquish her atomweight MMA title in 2025, her legacy remains anchored in her ability to master the distinct mechanics of striking and ground combat. She has also been recognised with multiple Performance of the Night bonuses. Her versatility is further highlighted by her ability to win via knockout and submission.
