How a former gymnast became one of professional wrestling's most decorated modern stars
In short: Jessica Woynilko, known as Tiffany Stratton, transitioned from competitive trampoline gymnastics to WWE stardom by blending athletic precision with a calculated, spoiled persona. Her rapid ascent from developmental NXT talent to a multi-time champion highlights a unique fusion of high-flying aerial maneuvers and character-driven storytelling that defines her current wrestling style.
Born in Prior Lake, Minnesota, in 1999, Woynilko initially pursued trampoline gymnastics. Her athletic trajectory shifted in 2017 following a stress fracture in her foot, leading her to professional wrestling under the guidance of Greg Gagne. By August 2021, she signed with WWE, debuting later that year on the NXT brand. Her early persona, a wealthy 'daddy's girl' inspired by Paris Hilton and Sharpay Evans, quickly established her as a prominent heel.
Stratton’s wrestling style is defined by her 'Prettiest Moonsault Ever,' a triple jump moonsault variation that leverages her background in gymnastics. This technical prowess helped her secure the NXT Women's Championship in May 2023, a title she held for 107 days. Her transition to the main roster on SmackDown in early 2024 marked a significant turning point, leading to her victory in the 2024 Women's Money in the Bank ladder match.
Her career reached new heights in 2025 when she cashed in her contract to win the WWE Women's Championship. Her reign lasted 302 days, during which she successfully defended the title against prominent opponents including Bayley, Charlotte Flair, and Jade Cargill. Following a brief hiatus, she returned in 2026 to capture the WWE Women's United States Championship, further cementing her status as a top-tier competitor in the industry. Her consistent performance is reflected in her PWI Women's 250 rankings, rising from 25th in 2023 to 4th in 2025.
