A century of football culminates in a historic kit reveal
In short: For Fenerbahçe S.K., the 2026–27 season is more than just another campaign; it marks 120 years of existence. To celebrate this milestone, the club is blending century-old heritage with modern aesthetics, honoring past victories while preparing for the highest stages of European football.
The 2026–27 season represents a significant chronological milestone for Fenerbahçe S.K., marking the club's 120th anniversary. This longevity is underscored by their consistent presence in Turkish football, as the upcoming season will be their 69th consecutive year competing in the top flight. The club's identity is deeply rooted in this history, which is reflected in their participation in major domestic and international competitions, including the Turkish Cup, Turkish Super Cup, and the UEFA Champions League.
To commemorate this centennial era, the club collaborated with Adidas to unveil a special kit collection on June 3, 2026. The designs serve as a visual history of the club: the home kit features the 120th anniversary crest and a modern interpretation of the iconic 'Çubuklu' striped design. The away kit is designed to reflect a 'noble spirit,' while the third kit draws direct inspiration from a historical victory in the General Harington Cup. Notably, the away kit marks a first in the club's history by featuring the Adidas Originals logo.
The scale of the club's operations for this season is reflected in its financial and logistical planning. The club reported a total expenditure of €98.7 million against an income of €29.5 million (excluding potential add-ons and bonuses). The roadmap for the season was established through a series of key dates, beginning with the third qualifying round draw in July 2025 and culminating in the league phase draw on August 27, 2026. The kit launch even featured a lineup of ten former players, bridging the gap between the club's storied past and its future ambitions.
