In short: Ahmad Bradshaw was a two-time Super Bowl champion with the New York Giants, but his most famous moment involved a bizarre act of athletic sabotage. During Super Bowl XLVI, facing a strategic maneuver by the Patriots, Bradshaw actually attempted to stop himself from crossing the goal line.

Ahmad Bradshaw’s professional career was defined by remarkable efficiency and unexpected drama. A seventh-round pick in the 2007 NFL draft, Bradshaw became one of only eight running backs in NFL history to lead the rushing totals in two different Super Bowls. He achieved this feat by defeating the New England Patriots in both Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI, providing the offensive spark necessary to end the Patriots' bid for a perfect 19–0 season in 2007.

His most iconic moment occurred in Super Bowl XLVI, where he scored the go-ahead, game-winning touchdown with just 57 seconds remaining. In an odd tactical move, New England's defensive unit let him reach the end zone without resistance to stop the Giants from bleeding the clock dry. Aware of this tactic, Bradshaw attempted to halt his own momentum to avoid the end zone, but he ultimately fell backward into it, securing a 21–17 victory.

Beyond the field, Bradshaw's journey was marked by significant legal and disciplinary hurdles. His college career began with a dismissal from the University of Virginia after an arrest for underage drinking and resisting arrest. Later, while playing for Marshall University, he faced probation for petty larceny involving a stolen PlayStation. Even in the NFL, he faced a one-game suspension in 2015 for a violation of the league's substance abuse policy following a marijuana possession charge.
