In short: Can a gritty police procedural live up to the bombastic energy of a blockbuster franchise? Indian Police Force attempts to bridge the gap between Rohit Shetty's signature action-heavy cinema and the serialized tension of digital streaming, following a relentless hunt for a terrorist operating under a false identity.

Directed by Rohit Shetty and Sushwanth Prakash, the series follows DCP Kabir Malik and Joint CP Vikram Bakshi as they investigate a series of bomb blasts in Delhi. The antagonist, Zarar, is an Indian Mujahideen terrorist who operates under the alias Haider. The investigation becomes deeply personal when Zarar shoots Vikram, leading to his death and causing Kabir to face significant internal conflict. The investigation involves collaboration with Tara Shetty, the ATS Chief of Gujarat. During the pursuit, the team also seeks assistance from Jagtap, a RAW agent and academy friend of the leads.

The production was a massive logistical undertaking, filmed across diverse locations including Mumbai, Goa, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Dhaka. Principal photography began in March 2022, with various schedules spanning through August 2023. The series features a prominent cast including Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Shweta Tiwari. Filming took place at several historic landmarks, such as the Red Fort and Humayun's Tomb. Production also included shoots at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Critical reception for the series has been mixed. On Rotten Tomatoes, it holds an average rating of 3.7/10 based on 11 reviews. While some critics praised its novelty in the digital space and its high-packed action, others noted predictability and a lack of the humor typically found in Shetty's films. Some reviewers felt the series lacked the 'heart-pounding crescendo' associated with the broader Cop Universe. Reviewers from The Times of India and Pinkvilla offered three-star ratings. However, The Indian Express provided a much harsher critique of the plot and character dynamics.

The narrative concludes with an intense pursuit that leads the protagonists from India to the Bangladesh border, where they finally ambush and capture Zarar. The mission eventually expands to include a hunt for Rafeeq in Kathmandu. This pursuit follows the successful apprehension of Zarar at a station near the border.
