In short: In 2015, Thomas Strudwick achieved a feat that seemed almost impossible for a child. By winning a British championship motorcycle race at just over 13 years old, he didn't just win a trophy; he became the youngest person in history to do so, breaking a long-standing record.

Thomas Strudwick's ascent in the world of motorcycle road racing is defined by an early mastery of high-speed mechanics. On 21 June 2015, he achieved a milestone while racing for MTS Racing in the KTM British Junior Cup. By reaching 13 years and 247 days old, he beat Kyle Ryde's former mark to become the youngest person to win a British championship motorcycle race.

His career has been marked by participation in highly structured developmental programs designed to cultivate elite talent. In 2018, he was one of only 22 riders selected for the inaugural British Talent Cup. This controlled-formula series was a strategic initiative conceived in 2017 by the MotoGP world championship organizers, Dorna, specifically to promote and develop young British riders. Strudwick made an immediate impact in this new arena, winning the very first race of the series at Donington Park on April 1, 2018.

Beyond these early milestones, Strudwick has consistently competed across various prestigious tiers of the sport. He has navigated the Moto3 Standard support class for the British Superbike Championship, where he secured three wins and finished third in the 2017 championship. His experience spans multiple disciplines, including the British Supersport Championship in the GP2 class and international competition in the Campeonato de España de Superbike (ESBK) in the Open600 class.

Strudwick recently showcased his range by entering the first National Sportbike Championship alongside the UK BMW F900 Cup national-level series. In 2024, he achieved a significant dual success, winning the BMW F900 Cup championship while simultaneously securing a third-place finish in the National Sportbike Championship on a Triumph 765. This progression highlights a career built on navigating diverse bike types and competitive formats.
