Can humans and apex predators share the same landscape peacefully?
In short: A former trophy hunting guide spent 45 years in the Canadian wilderness to understand grizzly bears. This documentary explores his transition from hunting these animals to advocating for a life of coexistence based on mutual respect.
The film follows a guide who abandoned a lucrative hunting business following a crisis of conscience. His work focuses on a revolutionary approach to wildlife management that prioritizes understanding dominance hierarchies and mutual respect rather than conflict.
By documenting behaviors such as intense bluff charges and rare underwater swimming, the documentary aims to dismantle common myths about grizzly bears. It highlights the intelligence of these predators and presents a lifelong mission to prove that humans and apex predators can inhabit the same remote wilderness areas.
