ATV-4 Launch Highlights · 3:14 · Video: European Space Agency, ESA · Watch at the source

In short: This video captures the launch of the European Space Agency's fourth Automated Transfer Vehicle. Watch as the Ariane 5 rocket carries the Albert Einstein supply ship into space to begin its mission to the International Space Station.

Launched on 5 June 2013 from Europe's Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana, the ATV-4, named Albert Einstein, was carried into orbit by an Arianespace Ariane 5 rocket. The vessel reached a circular parking orbit at an altitude of approximately 260 km about 64 minutes after liftoff.

Once its antenna boom and four solar wings were extended, the robotic vessel was set to execute docking manoeuvres with the International Space Station on 15 June.
