A direct line to the International Space Station
In short: Watch astronaut Tim Peake engage with school children from Wiltshire, UK, during a live interactive session. This footage captures a rare moment of direct communication between an explorer in training and the next generation of scientists.
Tim Peake underwent training for his six-month Principia voyage to the International Space Station during a period spent at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston. The video documents a joint hangout hosted by the European Space Agency (ESA), +spacegovuk, and BBC Wiltshire.
This interaction highlights the collaborative nature of space exploration, involving support from NASA's facilities to connect an astronaut with students before his scheduled December 2015 liftoff.
