In short: Watch the journey of the Soyuz TMA-17M spacecraft as it completes a six-hour rendezvous to join the orbiting laboratory.

Following a launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the Soyuz TMA-17M spacecraft successfully docked with the Rassvet module on July 23. The crew, led by Roscosmos Commander Oleg Kononenko alongside NASA's Kjell Lindgren and JAXA's Kimiya Yui, completed a four-orbit journey to reach the station.

Beyond the docking procedure, the mission involved diverse scientific research, including monitoring station microbes, observing liquid crystals for electronics advancement, and growing salad crops. The expedition also coincided with the start of the famous Twins study.
