In short: Experience the 2011 PromISSe mission through immersive 3D footage, following astronauts André Kuipers, Donald Pettit, and Oleg Kononeko from the Baikonur cosmodrome to the stars.
This video documents the preparatory stages of the Soyuz TMA-03M spacecraft launch, capturing the transition from Earth to orbit. It features key milestones such as the vertical erection of the rocket and the night launch from the Gagarin launch pad in Kazakhstan.
The mission, known as PromISSe, saw ESA astronaut André Kuipers serve as a flight engineer for Expedition 30. His five-month stay aboard the International Space Station concluded in late May 2012.
