Did a Demon Prince Need Your Blood to Free Lucifer?
In short: Azazel, the Yellow-Eyed Demon, operated through elaborate deceptions, manipulating powerful families and individuals across decades. His ultimate goal was never simple malice; it was tied to a grand, cosmic objective involving the release of Lucifer. Discover the pacts and manipulations that defined his sinister influence.
Azazel, one of the four Princes of Hell alongside Ramiel, Asmodeus, and Dagon, was fundamentally devoted to Lucifer. His machinations were highly strategic, culminating in a plan to free Lucifer from his prison. This traumatic event spurred John Winchester to dedicate his life to hunting Azazel, while simultaneously training Sam and Dean in the ways of the supernatural hunters. Furthermore, Azazel's reach was shown to extend to Sam's life later on, as he orchestrated the assassination of Sam's girlfriend, Jessica Moore, which prompted Sam to return to the life of hunting.
