In short: In just a few short years, a young defender has navigated the elite academies of Barcelona and Bayern Munich, moved between the Premier League and LaLiga, and established himself on the international stage. Discover the remarkable trajectory of one of football's most promising talents.

Born in Barcelona in June 2006, Adam Aznou Ben Cheikh has experienced a professional journey defined by high-stakes transfers and elite development. After beginning his career at Damm, he joined Barcelona's prestigious La Masia academy in 2019. His talent quickly attracted global attention; in the summer of 2022, despite reportedly turning down various European clubs, he signed with the German giants Bayern Munich.

His time in Germany saw a rapid progression through the ranks. By March 2023, he was training with Bayern's senior squad, and by January 2024, he sat on the bench for a Bundesliga victory against FC Augsburg. His professional milestones continued throughout 2024, including a professional contract extension through 2027 and a senior debut against Union Berlin, where he replaced Alphonso Davies. He even reached the heights of the UEFA Champions League, debuting in a 5–1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in December 2024.

Aznou's career has also been marked by significant movement across Europe's top leagues. Following a loan to Valladolid in early 2025, he joined the Premier League's Everton in July 2025 for an estimated €9 million fee. While his time in England included a notable performance in an FA Cup match against Sunderland, he later moved to Málaga on loan for the 2026–27 season.

Internationally, Aznou's path reflects his dual heritage. Though he represented Spain at the under-16 and under-17 levels, he ultimately chose to represent Morocco at the senior level. He received his first senior call-up for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in September 2024, making his debut against Lesotho.
