In short: Before becoming a chart-topping rapper, Zior Park was an aspiring tech entrepreneur whose startup dreams collapsed in the United States. His journey from a failed pitch to homelessness in a car eventually sparked a radical pivot into the world of hip hop and music direction.

Zior Park, born Park Ji-won on October 11, 1994, followed a conventional academic path before a dramatic shift in trajectory. After graduating from an information technology high school, he attended an engineering university for just one semester. To challenge the music business, Park relocated to America during his early twenties, aiming to obtain Silicon Valley angel funding for a startup in the music sector. However, a dispute with his Korean collaborators caused the proposal to fail, leaving him without funding or a clear path forward.

The transition from entrepreneur to artist was marked by a period of extreme hardship. Unable to afford rent in New York and San Francisco, Park experienced a month of homelessness, living out of his car. It was during this period of struggle that he began observing the success of artist Big Sean. Inspired by the way Sean's music dominated the charts, Park decided to abandon his tech ambitions and return to South Korea to pursue a career in rap.

Today, Park is recognized as a hip hop and R&B musician who writes exclusively in English. His artistic identity is built on the concept of selling 'fantasy,' drawing inspiration from eclectic figures like Willy Wonka, Jack Sparrow, and Harley Quinn. He views music as one component of a larger brand that must include video and fashion. This multi-faceted approach is reflected in his work as a music video director, where he operates under the monikers Chuck Blueman and Chet Black. His 2023 single 'Christian' reached number seven on the national Circle Digital Chart, showcasing his transition from a failed tech founder to a successful cultural creator.
