How influencer boxing expanded into professional rings and international arenas
In short: 2026 marks a pivotal shift for Misfits Boxing. As the promotion enters its fifth year, it has launched MF Pro, a dedicated professional division. From London to California, the organization is bridging the gap between influencer spectacle and sanctioned professional bouts, featuring Olympic gold medallists and former champions.
The year 2026 represents a significant evolution for the Misfits Boxing organization, founded by YouTuber KSI and managed by Mams Taylor, Kalle Sauerland, and Nisse Sauerland. This year saw the debut of MF Pro, the promotion's professional boxing division. This expansion moved the brand beyond mere entertainment into sanctioned professional territory, featuring high-stakes matches such as the MF Pro light heavyweight title bout between Ty Mitchell and Gabriel Rosado on 7 March 2026 in Derby, England, where Mitchell secured a unanimous decision victory.
The promotion's reach expanded globally, with MF Pro hosting its inaugural United States event on 19 June 2026 in Long Beach, California, headlined by Ashton Sylve versus Joseph Diaz. The organization also engaged in cross-promotional events, such as 'The Big Crossover' on 6 June 2026 in Leverkusen, Germany, a collaboration with Fame Fighting featuring Aleks Petrović and Chase DeMoor. This event, which ended in a 4–4 draw, was broadcast across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland via Bild.
The schedule for 2026 has been marked by both high-profile clashes and logistical complexities. While some events, like the Tommy Fury vs. Eddie Hall exhibition, were rescheduled from a planned April date in Qatar due to the 2026 Iran war, others focused on celebrity and athlete crossover. This included the 26 September match in Miami between former UFC champion Henry Cejudo and Javon Walton, and the 10 October event in London featuring television personality Joey Essex and comedian Dapper Laughs, which resulted in a split draw.
