From Michigan bar worker to WWE champion: the rise of Fallon Henley
In short: Theresa Schuessler, known in the ring as Fallon Henley, transformed from a small-town Michigan resident into a decorated professional wrestler. After years of independent circuit grinding and multiple character iterations, she secured a WWE developmental contract in 2022, eventually capturing multiple championships and establishing herself as a formidable presence.
Born in Tampa, Florida, in 1994, Theresa Schuessler moved to Chelsea, Michigan, at age one. Her path to professional wrestling began in 2015 while she was completing a degree in Criminology at the University of South Florida. She debuted under the name Tesha Price in 2017, competing for promotions like World Xtreme Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling before transitioning to WWE. Her early WWE tenure involved various ring names, including Tenilla Price and Anna Scheer, before she settled on the Fallon Henley persona.
Henley’s character initially resonated as a blue-collar 'country girl' who worked at her family's bar to fund her training. This persona saw her align with Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs, marking her early run as a fan-favorite. However, her career trajectory shifted significantly in 2024 when she turned heel, attacking peers and forming the stable Fatal Influence alongside Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx. This alliance proved pivotal, providing the support needed for her to secure her first singles title, the NXT Women's North American Championship, in October 2024.
Her championship pedigree is extensive. She held the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship with Kiana James in 2023 and later claimed the WWE Women's Speed Championship in 2025. As of 2026, she continues to compete on the SmackDown brand, currently holding the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship alongside Lainey Reid. Her evolution from a developmental talent to a multi-time champion reflects a decade of strategic character development and in-ring persistence, culminating in her recognition as one of the top 250 female singles wrestlers by PWI in 2025.
