In short: Before he was a professional cornerback, Adoree' Jackson was a standout multi-sport athlete. A five-star recruit and top-ranked athlete, his journey from the USC Trojans to the NFL draft was marked by elite defensive honors and a remarkable ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball.

Adoree' Jackson's rise to prominence began during his time at the University of Southern California. As a freshman in 2014, he immediately made an impact, earning Pac-12 Conference Freshman of the Year and Freshman All-American honors. A dual-threat capability defined his initial years; notably, he scored via a 71-yard catch and a 98-yard kick return during the 2014 Holiday Bowl.

By his junior season in 2016, Jackson had established himself as one of the premier defensive players in college football. He earned the prestigious Jim Thorpe Award, recognizing him as the nation's top defensive back, and also received the Jet Award. His defensive prowess was on full display in a significant upset against the fourth-ranked Washington Huskies, where he recorded two interceptions.

Jackson's transition to the professional ranks was highly anticipated. The Tennessee Titans took him 18th overall in the first round after he declared for the 2017 NFL draft. His draft stock was supported by various analysts, with rankings for his cornerback skills ranging from second to tenth best in the class. He entered the NFL with a fully guaranteed four-year, $11.28 million contract.

Throughout his professional career, Jackson has moved between several NFL franchises. After four seasons with the Titans, he signed a three-year, $39 million deal with the New York Giants in 2021. His career has seen periods of significant production, such as a 76-yard Pick 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023, as well as challenges with injuries, including an MCL sprain in 2022 and a knee injury in 2020.
