The Polish prodigy rewriting the record books in just two years
In short: From a youth academy in Białystok to the heights of the Primeira Liga, Oskar Pietuszewski is shattering speed and age records. At only seventeen, this winger has already left an indelible mark on Polish and Portuguese football history.
Oskar Pietuszewski’s ascent through the ranks of Jagiellonia Białystok was marked by prolific scoring. After winning the Polish under-14 championship in July 2022 as the tournament's top scorer, he continued his momentum with a hat-trick against Cracovia in August 2022. By age sixteen, he was competing on the European stage, making his UEFA Europa League debut against AFC Ajax in August 2024.
His transition to senior football was equally rapid. Following his Ekstraklasa debut in December 2024, he scored his first professional goal in May 2025, becoming the seventh-youngest scorer in the league's history. His domestic success earned him consecutive Ekstraklasa Young Player of the Month titles in August and September 2025.
In January 2026, a major transfer moved the winger to the Portuguese giants Porto for a reported fee of €8 million, potentially rising to €10 million. His impact in Portugal was instantaneous; just weeks after arriving, he scored the fastest goal in the history of Estádio do Dragão, finding the net just 13 seconds into a match against Arouca. This feat made him the youngest foreign player to score for the club.
On the international stage, Pietuszewski has progressed through Poland's youth tiers to the senior national team. After scoring as the youngest player in Poland U21 history in September 2025, he earned his first senior cap in March 2026 during a World Cup qualification play-off against Albania.
