The return of RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World series 3
In short: After the BBC's December 2025 announcement, the high-stakes international competition returned to our screens. Featuring a star-studded lineup of judges and guests, the third series promises to elevate the art of drag on a global stage, building on the momentum of previous international showdowns.
The third installment of RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World premiered on 27 January 2026. This series continues the format of pitting the best talent from various international iterations of the franchise against one another. The judging panel saw the return of RuPaul as the main host and head judge, supported by a familiar trio: Michelle Visage, Alan Carr, and Graham Norton. The production maintains continuity with its predecessor. This ensures a seamless transition for existing fans.
Beyond the main judging panel, the production features an array of high-profile guests who appear throughout the episodes. The guest list includes diverse figures such as Swedish singer and two-time Eurovision winner Loreen, as well as Bananarama members Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward. Other notable appearances include American personalities Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt, alongside Raven, a runner-up from both Season 2 and All Stars 1.
The series also draws from the worlds of television, comedy, and elite sports to provide a varied guest experience. Screenwriter Russell T Davies, comedian Jayde Adams, and several British Olympians—including rugby player Celia Quansah, BMX racer Shanaze Reade, track and field athlete Greg Rutherford, and rock climber Molly Thompson-Smith—are among those appearing in the series. This blend of celebrity expertise and athletic excellence adds a unique layer of prestige to the competition's atmosphere. The inclusion of Tia Kofi highlights the franchise's competitive history. This contestant previously won the second international series.
