At NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Administrator Jared Isaacman joined the Artemis II crew for a media briefing to discuss mission preparations. The crew includes NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, alongside Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen.
The Artemis program aims to facilitate scientific discovery and economic benefits through lunar exploration. This mission represents a critical milestone in NASA's strategy to return humans to the Moon and eventually launch the first crewed missions to Mars.
