After spending nearly 20 days in orbit, ESA project astronaut Marcus Wandt is returning to Earth. The return flight for the Axiom Mission 3 crew is expected to span approximately 47 hours.
Wandt is joined on the journey by a diverse international crew, including Walter Villadei of Italy, Alper Gezeravcı of Türkiye, and Michael López-Alegría, who holds dual citizenship in the United States and Spain. Wandt serves as a mission specialist for the duration of the trip.
